Company
history began in 1982 when the production site "Hlebprom number 7" specialized
in producing cream and bakery products
was founded.
In 1996
4 large Chelyabinsk
bakeries joined and later the organization gained the name OJSC "Hlebprom".
Sooner the production of a
creamy confectionery has become the main activity of OJSC "Hlebprom".
In 2001 the company won a Netherlands Government grant for equipment,
and a unique high-tech Netherlands biscuit production line was
launched in the factory. At the invitation of the heads of the company leading specialists from Holland
and Germany
worked in the factory and helped to install equipment and to train the staff.
The range of products was significantly diversified and the specialties and
trends of both Russian and European markets have been taken into account.
That's how new brand - "Mirel"
appeared on the market, and has quickly
developed brand loyalty.
Today the cakes of the
brand "Mirel" are available to buyers all over the country due to its unique
freezing technology that allows to keep the taste and quality of products
without using. Today the factory "Hlebprom" in Chelyabinsk
is the largest manufacturer of
biscuit-cream products in Eastern Europe.
In 2007, the two major
players of the confectionery market - Chelyabinsk
"Hlebprom" and the Moscow-based company "Uniservice."
The company "Uniservice was previously a major
supplier of frozen and canned vegetables and seafood from Poland,
Bulgaria, Denmark,
Norway, Germany, Sweden, Spain, as well as
producer of flour products and crispbreads.
